Tickets are purchased at the Foreigner Desk in the Main Station (Blue
dot) located at 120 Le Duan. Several Ha Noi-Lao Cai trains run daily, and are increased when traffic
demand warrants it departing from the Ha Noi rail rear station (Platforms 10/11), Tran Quy Cap (B
Station), on Pho Tran Qui Cap (Green dot), with up to three sleeper
trains and a daily hard seat train. |

The single day and the 3 night trains from Ha Noi to Lao Cai, SP1, LC1, LC3, LC5 and
their complimentary return trains SP2, LC2, LC4, LC 6) at scheduled to run every day. Only Hard Seat Class is
available on the Day Train whilst Travellers can enjoy soft-sleeper, AC, 4 or 6-berth cabin accommodation on the

Class rail service that will provide carriage for Victoria Hotel Sa Pa Guests ONLY. |

Matching their outrageous 'rack rates' of USD$200/night is the equally overpriced Victoria
Express Class which, in all reality, is simply another couple of carriages coupled to either the L5 or L6 trains.

This means the word 'express' is misleading, a falsehood, as the train rarely exceeds 50
kilometres per hour/30 miles per hour. |

Lao Cai, Victoria Express stylish train offers one restaurant and two luxury sleeping carriages, all with
air-conditioning. This is part of the normal run between Ha Noi and Lao Cai. |
