Description:
Ca Mau Province is the southernmost tip of ViętNam. Canals and rivers play important parts in the economy for both food and transportation.

Ca Mau is bordered on the north by Kien Giang and Bac Lieu; on the south, east and west by the South China Sea with a coastline of 254 kilometres .

Economy:
Agriculture, aquaculture, fishery, food processing industries.

Natural beauty sights:
Duoc and Tram and U Minh forests. Hon Khoai, Hon Chuoi Island.

Ecological travel:
Ca Mau Bird Sanctuary, Dau Roi Bird Sanctuary, Ngoc Hien Bird Sanctuary.

Transport:
Ca Mau is 350 kilometres south of Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon; 179 kilometres south of Can Tho. It has road and water tarnsport links.

Air
Ca Mau Airport (CAH) has no scheduled flights.

Road
Buses from Ca Mau Bus Station, 93 Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Tel: +84-(0)-780-836-436), terminate in Mien Tay Bus Station in Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon taking 10 hours to complete the 350 kilometre trip.

 
Water
Ferry service from Ferry Pier to the east and Ho Chi Minh City (30 hours) runs every 4 days and is far from comfortable; to the west and U Minh Forest from Ferry Pier A;  Rach Soi ferry terminal is about 10 kilometres south of Rach Gia (10 hours departing at 05.30H daily) departs from Ferry Pier B, use both canal and sea routes.

A high-speed boat south to Ngoc Hien from Ferry Pier B uses the canal. Contact Boat Express System on Ly Van Lam Street, Ca Mau. (Tel:
