Description:
Ninh Thuan Province is at the southern extreme of the Central Region of ViętNam.
It is bordered on the north by Khanh Hoa; on the south by Binh Thuan; on the
east by the South China Sea; on the west by Lam Dong.
Ninh
Thuan is the driest and hottest area in ViętNam. The climate is a combination of
the tropical monsoon with dry and windy weather.
The land revels in the glow of three seasons and the lowest annual rainfall of
the country – a mere 700 millimetres.
Economy:
Marine products, goat and cow breeding, grapes, the cashews, and the blue dragon
fruit.
Natural beauty sights:
Ca Na (2) is located on the border between Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces,
approximately 250 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon. It is on a mountain,
facing the sea. Dinh Cape, Ong Phat Cave, Ong Nong Rapids, Duc Well, and Bac
Mount are other interesting attractions in the area. Also popular for hiking,
swimming and canoeing.
Ninh Chu Beach (1) is located 6 kilometres east of Phan Rang - Thap Cham. The
5 kilometre long beach is famous for its white sand, turquoise water, and
verdant pine trees. The beach used to be reserved for the exclusive use of
President Nguyen Van Thieu, chief of Ninh Thuan province, and other high ranking
officials of the SaiGon regime.
Historic sights:
Many historical and cultural sites of the ancient Cham ethnic group are found
in this area.

Cha Bun Ceremony, Kate Ceremony, Raglai Tribe Festival, RoyaI Diladha Festival.
Transport:
Phan Rang and Thap Cham are twin towns close by each other - so close they are
difficult to identify. Thap Cham is 1408 kilometres south of Ha Noi; 105
kilometres south of Nha Trang; 147 kilometres north of Phan Thiet; 334
kilometres north of Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon; 110 kilometres east of Da Lat; 7
kilometres southest of Thap Cham Railway Station. Phan Rang and Thap Cham are
serviced by rail and road links.
Rail
Thap Cham Railway Station, at the foot of a hill topped by Po Klong Garai Towers
6 kilometres from National Highway 1, and is a scheduled stop for express
trains.
Road
Bus
The Long-Distance Bus Station is 500 metres north of downtown, opposite 66
Thong Nhat Street. Scheduled service with Mien Dong Bus Station in Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon,
as well as Da Lat, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phan
Thiet.
The Local Bus Station is south of Phan Rang, opposite 428 Thong Nhat Street.
