Description:
Gia Lai is located in the central Tay Nguyen Highlands or Central Highlands and shares a border with Cambodia on the west.

Economy:

Natural beauty sights:
Gia Lai has many beautiful landscapes including To Nung Lake (1), Xung Khoeng Waterfall (2).

Ecological sites:
Kon Chu Forest is a protected area for wild animals.

Historic sights:
Ba Na ethnic group villages and the Ayunpa military base.

Transport:

Plei Ku is serviced by air and road links. Plei Ku is 186 kilometres east of Qui Nhon, 197 kilometres north of Buon Ma Thuot and 550 kilometres north of Ho Chi Minh City.

Air
Plei Ku Airport (PXU) is 25 kilometres north of Pleiku, 40 kilometres south of Kon Tum. There are scheduled flights to Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon.

Bus
