Description:
Khanh Hoa Province lies in
northern south ViętNam, 1,450 kilometres south of Ha Noi; 450
kilometres northeast of Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon.
The tropical monsoon climate is influenced by the South China Sea. The annual
average sunlight is
between 1,600 and 2,300 hours.
Visitors enjoy the group of five or six islands situated close to each
other just offshore from Nha Trang. The largest of the islands is Hon Tre some 3
kilometres from Nha
Trang.

Khanh Hoa Province is serviced by
excellent air, rail and road connections primarily because the capital, Nha
Trang, is an established resort dating back to French colonial times.
Air
Nha Trang Airport (NHA), located some 3 kilometres to the south of downtown, has
scheduled flights to Da Nang, Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon.
Rail
Nha Trang Railway Station is conveniently located downtown, again on on a spur line
so do not be alarmed of direction reversal when departing the station, at 17

Road
Nha Trang is a
major bus destination, being a change point for buses heading up to Da Lat.
The Express Bus Station is on on Yersin Street, about a mile past the Railway
Station.
The Local Bus Station is adjacent to the Railway Station on Thai Nguyen Street.
