Description:

Cao Bang, is a province in the northern highlands, bordered by China to the north, Bac Can and Lang Son to the south and Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang to the west.

Economy:
Agriculture, hydro-electricity, iron.

Natural beauty sights:
Ban Gioc Fall in Trung Khanh, Ba Be Lake in Ba Be, Thang Then Lake in Tra Linh.

Historic sights:
Several sites where Uncle Ho lived and worked prior to the 1945 August Revolution include Pac Bo, Coc Bo Cave, Lenin Stream, and Khuoi Nam Stream.

Festivals:
Moi Me Trang Festival, Long Tong Festival, Thanh Minh Festival.


Transport:
Cao Bang is accessible by road being 272 kilometres from Ha Noi, 85 kilometres from Ban Gioc Waterfall. There are direct buses from Ha Noi, Thai Nguyen and Lang Son.
