Giving Cards
Due to pronunciation and/or language differences it is handy to carry business
cards so that the hotel or other contacts you might have whilst travelling.
Those with laser printers can
easily buy sheets of pre-cut business cards, in A4 or legal size, and there are several software programs that are
compatible with these cards.
Taking Cards
For like reasons you should take the
card of every hotel or guesthouse you stay in - if for no other reason other than to give to your taxi driver so you can
return safely.
Business cards are also useful for future reference should you meet someone headed to places
you have been. You can make notes on the rear of each card about the business place that can refresh your memories,
later.
Comment
If a place serves you well, advertise for them. Most places have cards.
The best and most unusual experiences will come from a recommendation. We’ve found most of our accommodation
and tours by speaking to other travellers (since most people are doing the same route, or in reverse).
Likewise we’ll tell others when a place deserves credit.
