	2003MAY02 Question   Can I go camping in VietNam? WomPom   No Foreigner/Traveller is permitted to go camping in VietNam and if you are found by Police they will do their duty by locating accommodation for you - even if such accommodation is worse than your tent.   That said, one WomPom drags a camper-trailer around and camps in First Nations villages, for small payments, and has never been hassled by police.
